If your Miele washing machine shows error F7 with the message "Check drain LED flashing", this means that there is a problem with the water drainage. The machine monitors the water level, and if it does not drop below 40 mmWS within 2.5 minutes, the Check drain LED starts to flash.

If the water level is still too high after 5 minutes, the programme is cancelled and an acoustic signal sounds. Here are some possible causes of this error:

The water is not draining sufficiently.
The foreign object trap is blocked.
The drain pump is not working properly.
The non-return valve is malfunctioning.
The drain hose is kinked or blocked.
